Hi! My name is Jen Fortin and I'm an E-RYT200, YACEP, Certified Personal & Group Fitness Instructor, Certified Sport Yoga Instructor, and co-owner of Wild Wonder Yoga Retreats & Trainings, LLC. I began my yoga journey in 2010 after the birth of my son. Yoga brought me a sense of peace and self discovery that I had never experienced before. I knew very quickly that sharing yoga with others was going to be my life’s passion.
While working on my personal training certification in 2014, I took a chance and added Hatha Yoga teacher training to my radar. Quickly thereafter I began working with private clients for both yoga and general health and fitness. I was invited to work with the former professional soccer team the Carolina Railhawks (now NCFC), focusing on yoga for athletes, including injury prevention, muscular recovery, breath work, joint health and improved flexibility and mobility. In the following years, I have worked with various Division 1 collegiate athletic teams and a wide range of individual athletes from CrossFit to golfers and everything in between.
My passions also lie in providing continuing education courses for yoga teachers, teaching power vinyasa, providing nutrition guidance and support, sculpt yoga, ballet barre, strength training, and flow yoga, as well as embracing my role as co-owner of Wild Wonder Yoga Retreats & Trainings alongside Anderson Yoga Center owner, and soul sister, Megan Schlobohm. You can find us traveling the world teaching unique, meaningful, and thoughtfully planned out yoga retreats and yoga teacher trainings.
