"July of 2023 I took a 30hr continuing training course with Jen. This course was on Slow burn Sculpt Yoga. I have known Jen for a few years now and she is the kindest soul you will meet. Her approach to this training was very thought out. She has an extensive back ground in various areas of fitness. When I heard she was offering this training I knew I had to learn from her. We spent two weekends together. We learned anatomy, pranayama, strength training techniques, class sequencing and teaching methodology. She challenged us and had us put together a well thought out class and teach it. We were challenged to get out of our comfort zone and create! I had so much fun learning from Jen. If you’re looking for a program for continuing education I highly suggest choosing Jen’s program."

I was so excited when Jen decided to hold a beginner yoga session. I was looking for a balance of stretching my achy body as well as trying to find some inner peace and balance. From the minute our session started, Jen offered such a relaxing environment. Between the tone of her voice and her selection of quotes she really gets you to focus on yourself and the moment. My brain is in constant motion and it is super hard for me to turn it off or at least slow it down to focus. I don't know how she does it. Her instructions for beginners is spot on - I had not a clue what I was doing - and never once did I feel uncomfortable or lost. Jen is such a breath of fresh air and an amazing coach. If you are on the fence about giving yoga a try, I highly recommend attending a session with Jen. You won't be disappointed.

Jen is an amazing yoga teacher. I first met her through a gym class and loved her instructional approach there. Having never taken a yoga class before, I felt safe and confident enough to try it with her because of her teaching style. Her classes are easy to follow and accessible because she uses mostly English terms/cues for the poses, rather than the Sanskrit terms. On the spiritual side of a yoga class, she stresses the importance of giving yourself a break, both figuratively and literally, which is something all of us can use. Most importantly, Jen teaches from her heart. You can tell she genuinely loves teaching yoga and helping people. She is honest and real and wants to share yoga with all kinds of people- big or small, young or old, athletic or clumsy. In fact, taking yoga with Jen has inspired me to become a yoga teacher myself. I want to be like her when I grow up!

Personally for me yoga has always been something I was very interested in but never took a class until recent. After one class I was hooked. As a student with no experience, Jen has challenged and supported my own level. She introduced Asanas (poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and basic yoga practice. She taught us Yin yoga, a slow paced style of yoga that is held for longer periods of time, which has helped me with strengthening and stretching postures. Yoga is more than just a fun class but after few classes doing yoga with Jen, she was able to help me release stress from my mind, body and soul. Many of us practice yoga for many reasons. For me, yoga has been a spiritual awakening. She provides you tools and books so you can use to help learn yoga practices at home. Jen suggested keeping a journal, which has been helpful to me. Yoga is a life style that will only help bring you your own personal journey. Jen continues to help me and others with self-awareness into your everyday lifestyle. She is knowledgeable, kind, patient and greets everyone with a smile.

Jen is so in tune with her students’ varied needs and levels of experience — always offering alternatives to accommodate each student. Her gentle nature is so calming and pleasant. She is the perfect yoga instructor! I started with Jen in Beginning Yoga and have continued to practice with her since then. I look forward to continuing to grow and learn under her instruction.

The classes I have taken with Jen have been such a positive experience. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, not pretentious or competitive. I started taking Yin Yoga after a hiatus from my practice. Jen has a joy for teaching yoga.
